Biographical Information: Jack, as he was known, was born on 29 September 1911 in Alverstoke, Gosport to Thomas and Ellen Arkinstall. He was the husband of Edith Arkinstall. He was serving in Hood as an Acting Leading Seaman (Temporary) at the time of the sinking. He was 29 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
