Biographical Information: George was born on 06 July 1920 in Hull, Yorkshire. His parents were Herbert and Mary Booth of Wingfield Road, Hull. He attended Blenkin Street school and worked at Tarran Industries, Ltd., prior to joining the Navy. He and his wife Ella (nee Booth) lived on Clarenden Street, Spring Bank, Hull.

George was 20 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
