Biographical Information: Robert was born on 10 June 1918 in Brighton, Sussex to Robert and Hannah Charlton. The family later lived in Middlesbrough, Yorkshire. He was trained at H.M.S. Ganges. He was 22 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
