Biographical Information: Ronald was born on 25 September 1922 in Portsmouth, Hampshire to Charles and Flora Earwaker. The family later lived in Fishbourne, Sussex. He is known to have had a sister.

Ronald was trained at H.M.S. St. Vincent before joining Hood.  He was 18 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
