Biographical Information: David was born on 21 April 1911 in Glyn Neath, Glamorgan, Wales. He is later believed to have lived in Pontwalby, Wales. He was known to played rugby union for Glynneath and Neath, and rugby league that he played for Wales and Huddersfield.

David was married. He and his wife had one child, a daughter. He never saw his daughter as she was born on the very day he died.

David was 30 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
