Biographical Information: Sydney was born on 26 June 1905 in Willesden, London to Sydney and Amy Flint. He was the husband of Ethel Flint and father of Eileen Flint, of Bursledon, Hampshire.

He joined the Navy in 1921. His first posting was to H.M.S. Impregnable. Sydney was 35 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
