Biographical Information: "Mickey", as he was known, was born on 20 March 1909 in Ballingstraid, Ballycastle, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. He was the husband of Violet Glenn, of Southsea, Hampshire. A talented artist, he was well-known among Hood's company as the ship's unofficial cartoonist. He was also a member of the popular shipboard band "The Harmony Boys". Mickey was serving as an Acting Stoker Petty Officer (Temporary) and was 32 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
