Biographical Information: Patrick was born on 09 June 1915 in St Johns, Newfoundland. He was the youngest of 13 children born to William and Mary Howlett, of Petty Harbour, Newfoundland. He was a member of the Newfoundland Overseas Forestry Unit (NOFU No. 1053) and was later transferred to the Royal Navy. Hood is believed to have been his only ship. He was 25 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
