Date Joined Hood: 14 September 1939
Biographical Information: John was the son of George and Beatrice Iago, of Northwood, Middlesex. He was well educated and received a B.Sc., A.C.G.I. He entered the RNVR on active duty on 29 August 1939. He was drafted to Hood the following month. He was 25 years old at the time of his loss. You can read more about him in his sister Bee's book, "...And Home There's No Returning". We have no additional information.
