Biographical Information: Herbert was the husband of Constance Lane. He was the son of Herbert and Lilian Lane. He and Constance married on 25 Dec 1939. Their daughter, Norma, was born a month and a half after the sinking of Hood. Sadly, she died just two years later.

Herbert was 22 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
