Biographical Information: John was born on 17 February 1916 in Newcastle, Northumberland to Mr & Mrs P. McCullagh. The family lived at Loadman Street, Elswick, Newcastle. Before joining the Navy in the late 1930s John had worked for Vickers-Armstrong and for St John Ambulance. He was 25 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
