Biographical Information: John was born on 04 December 1922 to Patrick and Elizabeth McGhee, of Dumbarton, Dumbartonshire, Scotland.  He was trained at H.M.S. St George. His brother James also served in the Royal Navy. He was 18 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
