Biographical Information: William was born on 19 May 1919 to George and Jeanie Pennycook, of Hamilton, Lanarkshire. William spent much of his childhood in Nova Scotia. He later returned to the UK. Prior to joining the Navy, her worked with father at Viewpark Colliery. William was 22 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
