Service: Royal Navy Rank: Able Seaman Service Number: P/JX 156294 Date Joined Hood: 1939 Biographical Information: "Sandy", as he was known, was the son of Harry and Dorothy Sanderson, of Chichester. Sussex. He trained at H.M.S. St Vincent before being posted to Hood in 1939. He was 19 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
