Biographical Information: Frederick was born on 04 June 1920 to parents Albert and Ann Scattergood, of 18 Westwood Road, Earlsdon, Coventry. He worked as a lathe operator for for G.C. Weston and Co. Ltd. before joining the Navy on 26 December 1939. He was also once a member of the Gosford Street Boy Scouts. He was 20 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
