Biographical Information: Jack was born on 17 March 1920 to Jack and Agnes Till, of Andover, Hampshire. He had one sister, Jeanne, who was born in 1925.

Jack joined the Navy at age 15 and was trained at H.M.S. St Vincent. He was posted to H.M.S. Hood in the late 1930s. He was 21 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
