The photos in this article were donated to us by the H.M.S. Hood Association's patron, Viscount Henry Hood. His grandmother, Lady Hood, wife of Sir Horace Hood lost at Jutland, launched the battle cruiser Hood at John Brown and Company, Glasgow, on 22 August 1918. She kept materials related to the launching in a family album. The information herein comes from said album.
