Throught the 1930s, numerous modifications were made to Hood. This article addresses the most notable of these modifications. This information herein was derived primarily from ADM 136-13, Volume 3 (aka the "Ship's Books") which are held at the National Archives. Please note that this listing primarily concerns notable work...we aren't covering minor items or proposed work which was not actually carried out. Be advised that this listing is not entirely complete at this time, but we will endeavour to add more information as it becomes available and as time permits.
